Here's what's going on this week for Sixties Scoop News at LIFE as Medicine.

Tomorrow night (Tuesday March 11) at 6:30pm we have our Project Meeting for the First Voice Leadership Team, reminders will be sent to your inboxes.
|
|
Thursday, LIFE as Medicine will be travelling to Indian Brook to meet with community and share in an Art Hive experiential. Thursday evening we also offer our beautiful Grounding & Relaxation session at 6:30pm.
|
Then on Saturday we have the long awaited Water Blessing with Mide Elder Mike Nadjiwon & Grandmother Nukumi Selina at the Seaforth Hall, where we will gather together for healing and reflection and to learn Sacred Bundle Medicines. Together we will be connecting to water in spirit, in song and with berries.

Grounding & Relaxation - Thursday 6:30pm
Join us weekly at 6:30pm on Thursdays for Grounding and Relaxation with Fyre Jean and Lynn Fraser. On our trauma healing journey we need regular times to come into our bodies, relax and breathe. This space is open to all Sixties Scoop Survivors, descendants, and their families. We welcome you to share this widely. We hope folks curious about the Stories of Hope and Resilience project will drop in and meet us there.

Winter's End Gathering and Water Blessing

LIFE as Medicine is proud to announce a wonderful event Saturday March 15 as we draw closer to the warmer months ahead. We are honoured to have Mike Nadjiwon and Grandmother Nukumi Selina to share teachings with us as we learn about Sacred Bundle Medicines and to lead us in a Water Blessing. We will also be sharing a delicious feast and joining together to celebrate Spring's arrival.
