LIFE as Medicine
Spring Newsletter
Greetings from LIFE as Medicine
We’re honoured to share our upcoming spring offerings with you all.
The animals are waking up from their slumber, blossoms are returning to the trees as we reawaken to the dance of life.
We are offering two land-centered gatherings in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.
Join us around the fire, in the water, through song, ceremony, and creative expression. Together, we’ll immerse ourselves in the land where we will be working with natural art materials, respectfully harvested from Earth Mother. Come and enjoy expressive arts experiences designed to nourish the heart, body, mind and spirit.
Thanks to the support of the Sixties Scoop Foundation, we are able to provide registration at No-Fee to all Sixties Scoop survivors, their families (and those considered family), and descendants.
As always, we hope to see you there.

Winter's End Celebration
with Mike Nadjiwon
| In March Sixties Scoop Survivors joined together for a Winter's End Healing event with Mike Nadjiwon, Midewin Helper, who shared Little Boy Water Drum. As we embraced the warmer months ahead, we were honoured to have Mike Nadjiwon and GrandMother Nukumi Selina share teachings with us as we learned about Sacred Bundle Medicines. GrandMother Darlene Gilbert led us in a Water Blessing. We also shared a delicious feast and joined together to celebrate Spring's arrival. |
