ReMatriating Our Bodies: Empowering Creatrix Energies

This is our first call to register for our upcoming ReMatriating Our Bodies: a Land Based Arts Based Healing Retreat September 17-19 here in Nova Scotia. We intend to keep the gathering smaller and more intimate and would love to have a good idea of how many of those that collaborated on the planning wish to register, and if there are friends or relatives you would like to invite before we open it to further registration. The link to register is currently private, so it does not show up on our website. Please register by Friday, August 23 by following this link.

ReMatriating our Bodies will be followed by Me as Tree: We as Forest: Land Based Healing Retreat, September 20-22, and we hope some will be inspired to stay on with us at our Retreat Space for both events. Camp Kidston is located about 9 km east of Middle Musquodoboit. The use of the property also includes canoes and kayaks for the lake, with life jackets as well. There is a small beach area and the lake is also good for swimming. Our fire pit area is situated in a lovely spot by the lake. This area is quite private and there will be no other camp staff on site, only folx attached to our offering.

There is a main building with lots of space that overlooks that lake, has a dining area and a huge kitchen. There are 5 rustic cabins which sleep 92 people in all, which is great to spread out under 40 people. There is also a staff quarters with rooms for our grandmothers and elders.
