Andrea Currie

Andrea Currie brings to LIFE as Medicine, as a First Voice Survivor of the Sixties Scoop, her story and experience as an adoptee and how her uncovering of her own Ancestors led to reconnecting with her original family and People.

Since 2003, Andrea has worked in the field of Indigenous mental health and community wellness. She brings this background, together with a connection with All Our Relations, Elders and Knowledge Keepers, who have supported and guided her professionally and personally, to her path in this healing work and life.

Her newest book is Finding Otipemisiwak The People Who Own Themselves.
